NEW CARTS FOR EACH HOME

Village of Gurnee homes will automatically be registered to receive the same size garbage and recycling that residents current have on site with WM.

No action is required if you prefer the size garbage and recycling container that you already have with WM
- Scroll down to complete the bottom portion of this form if you would prefer different cart sizes, additional carts or to enroll in our seasonal yard waste subscription program.
NEW CART DELIVERY
- Delivery crews will begin dropping off new LRS carts beginning May 20th and completing around May 27th
- Please begin using new LRS carts after your final collection with WM
OLD CART REMOVALS
- WM will have special crews to remove their carts during the same time period May, after your last service day with them
- Do not place anything in the WM carts after they have been emptied for the final time
- WM will have special crews removing their equipment starting May 27th and completing June 1
- WM carts will be removed on the service day AFTER they are emptied.
- Leave the old carts out to be removed curbside
- Carts will only be removed by the curb
DEADLINE FOR ADDITIONAL OR SMALLER CART SELECTIONS
- Deadline for cart selections is 6pm on May 1^st 2024
- Requests received after the above date will be delivered when initial deliveries have been completed
- Requests submitted after the above date may take up to 4 weeks to complete
- LRS does not guarantee delivery dates or times as different carts will arrive on different days and times throughout the cart delivery period, even in the same neighborhood
- Cart change requests received after July 1^st 2024, will incur a $25.00 delivery or exchange fee
- If you decide to change your request before the 5/1 deadline, LRS will pass along only your final submission to our cart delivery team.
